1. What this covers
This explains how THE SNOWBALL OF GROWTH S.R.L. uses cookies and similar technologies on www.thesnowballofgrowth.com and inside the platform, why we use them, and how you control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
Your rights here come from the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site keep you logged in, remember your choices, and understand how the site is being used.
Cookies set by us are first-party. Cookies set by other companies whose tools we use are third-party. We also use pixels and similar technologies, and everything in this policy applies to those too.
3. The categories we use
Strictly necessary. Required for the site and the platform to work. They cannot be switched off, because without them you cannot log in or pay. Examples: session and authentication cookies set by Systeme.io, which keep you logged into your dashboard; security cookies set by Stripe, which process payments and prevent fraud; and the cookie that records your own consent choice, so we do not ask you again on every page. Functional. Remember choices you have made, so the site behaves the way you left it. On our site this includes a cookie holding the email address you entered on a form, so that later pages in the same visit can connect it to the right account. Analytics. Let us count visits, see where people come from, and understand which lessons and pages are used. We use Google Analytics for this. These do not run until you consent. Advertising. Set through our site by advertising partners, and used to measure our advertising and show relevant ads to people who have visited us. We use Google Ads and the Meta pixel. These do not run until you consent.
We do not use TikTok, and we do not use any advertising network other than the two named above. If that changes, this policy changes first.
4. Consent, and how it works here
We are required to get your explicit consent before placing any cookie that is not strictly necessary. We use CookieYes as our consent management platform.
On your first visit you see a consent banner.
Nothing in the analytics or advertising categories runs until you accept.
If you reject, only strictly necessary cookies are used, and the site still works.
Your choice is recorded, and we can show what you chose and when.
Consent is handled through Google Consent Mode, so where you have declined, our tools receive that decision and behave accordingly. Advertising tools that cannot honour a rejection are blocked from firing at all.
5. Changing your mind
Through us. Use the Cookie Preferences link in the footer, or the consent widget on the page, to reopen the banner and change your choices at any time. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Through your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. If you block strictly necessary cookies you will not be able to log in or complete a purchase, and that is a limitation of how the web works rather than a choice we have made.
6. The live list
The complete list of the individual cookies in use, with what each one does and how long it lasts, is available in the consent banner itself, under cookie details. That list is generated from a scan of the live site, so it stays accurate as things change.
7. Changes
We may update this policy when the tools we use change, or for legal reasons. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
